The Western Prairie Thunder are headed to Round 4 of the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League playoffs, after taking down their west central counterparts in the Western Prairie Redwings last night 7-0 to complete a series sweep.

The Thunder travelled to Rosetown yesterday after a 4-0 win in Game 1, and kept their foot on the gas in collecting another shutout victory. The Thunder never looked back after entering the third period up 6-0. Kailee Preston was the goalie responsible for each of the series shutouts, and some standout skaters for the Thunder in Game 2 specifically were Hayden Hilbig and Emma Christison as they each scored twice.

Now, the girls await the winners of the other semi-final series set to resume tonight, as they will take on either Prince Albert or the Northwest Wings on their road to hopefully taking the SASKFHL championship.
