Unity Miners Put On Street Hockey Game to Wrap up Winter Wonderland

Despite the cold weather the last little while, including late last week, the Unity Miners put on a street hockey game for kids in the Town this past Thursday. In conjunction with the Unity Winter Wonderland, the senior team puts on a street hockey game with the kids as their part of the festivities. The players who are available come out. It’s usually a huge hit with the kids. There is usually quite a few but the weather this year brought the numbers down. The team was pretty happy with the turnout they had despite the cold weather.

James Alexander provided the lights, and music was being played during the street hockey game. Hot chocolate was available for everyone to stay warm on the cold Thursday evening.
