Educators all-around Saskatchewan will be outside picketing Tuesday, in a follow up from last week's Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation announcement that a provincewide one-day teachers strike would be taking place Tuesday, January 16.

The STF release shows the only west-central Saskatchewan demonstration site in Kindersley. It will take place in front of the office of Kindersley MLA Ken Francis, one of 40 total demonstrations, as a majority of Tuesday's picketing will take place in front of a Saskatchewan Party MLA's office.

One protest in Regina will be taking place in front of the Legislative Building, as according to the STF release, on Tuesday morning president Samantha Becotte and Canadian Teachers’ Federation President Heidi Yetman will deliver letters to the Premier and Minister at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building.

"These letters are from teachers and supporters across the province, describing critical issues in the publicly funded education system, and what the government must do to address them." stated the release as both Becotte and Yetman will be providing comments to the media afterwards.

WestCentralOnline will be present at the Kindersley demonstration. Expect comments and a full follow-up Tuesday afternoon.
