Tuesday September 27, 2016 06:00 a.m - Wednesday September 28, 2016 6:00 a.m
RCMP responded to 5 calls for service in RM of Kindersley, Town of Kindersley, Town of Eston.

2016-09-27

11:00 a.m.- Call of an abandoned vehicle in a parking lot.

1:30 p.m.- Driving complaint in the Town of Kindersley. Vehicle creating a loud and unnecessary noise. Vehicle was located and the driver has been charged with windshield unlawfully having sun screen under the Vehicle Equipment Regulations Act. Driver of the vehicle also received inspection tickets for the windshield and loud muffler.

2:00 p.m.- Received a call of an abandoned vehicle with no license plate on a roadway. Vehicle was located and had been moved onto private property by its owner.

2:30 p.m.- Unregistered Vehicle left on roadway.

3:00 p.m.- Received a complaint of a civil matter. Referred to Land Lord and Tenant Act.

Wednesday September 28th, 2016 6:00 a.m. – Thursday September 29th, 2016 6:00 a.m.

RCMP responded to 11 calls for service in RM of Kindersley, Town of Kerrobert, Town of Kindersley, Town of Eston.

2016-09-28

6:59 a.m.- Driving Complaint. Vehicle passing when unsafe on the highway. Vehicle was not located but statements have been provided. Charges pending.

10:04 a.m.- Assault. File under investigation.

1:34 p.m.- Assist with Canadian Firearms Program inquiry.

1:59 p.m.- Fire alarm. RCMP attended with Fire Department, False Alarm.

4:07 p.m.- Four officers attended neighbouring RCMP Detachment and assisted with investigation involving firearms. More information to be provided at a later time.

4:47 p.m.- Suspicious person. Person was located, nothing suspicious found.

5:17 p.m.- Driving Complaint. Erratic Driver. Vehicle not located but statements have been provided. Charges pending.

6:21 p.m.- Fraud. File under investigation

9:29 p.m.- Complaint of a vehicle screeching tires, disturbing the peace. RCMP Responded immediately, unable to locate vehicle. Under Investigation.

1:18 a.m.- Received a call of an intoxicated person passed out with a can of Pringles in a local business. Person was located and offered a free ride in our buffalo cab for a free night stay in one of our suites. Person politely declined and found an alternative option.

2:18 a.m.- Received a call of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance. Person decided to take the option of the free ride in our buffalo cab to the RCMP detachment for the night. Released in the morning when sober. No charges laid.

10:18 a.m.- Complaint of a person committing an Indecent Act- File under investigation.

1:00 p.m.- Call of a suspicious person hitch hiking and walking/stumbling into traffic.

1:05 p.m.- Received another call of the same suspicious person on the highway.

1:15 p.m.- Third call of the suspicious person on the highway. RCMP arrived on scene and provided the person transportation off the highway.

2:23 p.m.- Suspicious person who appeared to be intoxicated got into a vehicle and drove away down the wrong side of the road. Three officers responded and attempted to locate the vehicle. Vehicle was not initially located. Evening shift located the vehicle later on and found it parked. File will be followed up.

6:26 p.m.- Driving Complaint. Passing when unsafe and speeding.

8:20 p.m.- Stopped a driver in town limits for traveling 72 km/hr in a 40 km/hr zone. Ticket for Exceed lawful posted speed limit which carries a fine of $184.00.

9:44 p.m.- Harassment complaint. File under investigation.

11:49 p.m.- Failure to comply with probation order.

Friday September 30th, 6:00 a.m. – Monday October 3rd, 6:00 a.m.
RCMP responded to approximately 31 calls for service in Town of Kindersley, Town of Kerrobert, Town of Eston, RM of Kindersley, Eatonia, RM of Snipe Lake, Coleville and Marengo.

Calls that were attended to over the weekend were:

2 911 Hang up calls, Abandoned Vehicle, 3 Disturb the Peace, 2 Drive Without Due Care and Attention, Fraud, Indecent Act, Mischief, 2 Uttering Threats, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Theft Over $5000, 2 Traffic Collisions.

One driver was pulled over for an Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle investigation and is now facing charges for refusing to provide a breath sample.

Many traffic tickets were handed out this weekend including one driver who is facing a $376.00 fine for travelling 152 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone.

Monday October 3rd 6:00 a.m. – Wednesday October 5th 6:00 a.m.
RCMP responded to 12 calls for service in RM of Kindersley, Town of Kindersley, Alsask, RM of Newcombe, Town of Eston, RM of Snipe Lake.

One driver is facing a fine of $186.00 fine for travelling 133 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone.

Call of a theft of a trailer, stolen from a business parking-lot. File remains under investigation.

Call of a harassment complaint. File remains under investigation

Call of a theft of a White 2014 Dodge truck stolen from in front of a local gas station. Truck was located, suspect has been arrested and remains in custody today. A 24 year old male is facing charges of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime, resist/obstruct peace office and fail to comply with probation order.

Break and enter into multiple residences, file remains under investigation.

On Wednesday October 5th  RCMP responded to 12 calls for service in RM of Kindersley, Netherhill, D’arcy, Marengo, Flaxcombe, Town of Kindersley, Alsask, Town of Kerrobert, Brock.

2016-10-05

9:16 a.m.- Call of a semi partially blocking a lane on Highway 7 East of Kindersley 5 km. Traffic was backed up for a short time before the vehicle was towed back onto the road. No injuries.

9:39 a.m.- Call of a second semi partially blocking a lane on Highway 7 East of Kindersley near Netherhill. No injuries, vehicle was towed back onto the road.

10:16 a.m.- Call of a third semi blocking both lanes of traffic on Highway 7 just west of D’arcy. Traffic was backed but there were no injuries.

10:28 a.m.- Call on Highway 7 near Brock, two Semi’s with trailers went off the road and into the ditch. No injuries. Both were towed.

2:32 p.m.- Complaint of an abandoned Semi at Flaxcombe on Highway 7.

2:59 p.m.- Call of a possible intoxicated driver.

4:27 p.m.- Suspicious person complaint.

7:26 p.m.- Driving complaint on Highway 7 near Marengo. Vehicle was located and driver was charged with section 213(1) under the Traffic Safety Act for drive a vehicle without due care and attention which carries a fine of $280.00.
