The Kindersley Klippers made Wednesday night's home game an exciting spectacle for fans.

After trailing the Melfort Mustangs the majority of the game, the Klippers climbed their way back to draw even late in the third. Brendan Wagner and Jordan Evans scored both goals to make it 3-3 and sent it to overtime.

The game became a little tense for Klippers fans in the extra frame as the team were on a 4-on-3 penalty kill. Fans cheered on the players as they threw their bodies in front of shots to ensure the puck stayed out of the net, and sent the game to a shootout.

Justin Close stopped all three shots he faced in the shootout, and Josh Bly scored the shootout winner as the Klippers completed the comeback with a 4-3 shootout victory.

The Klippers currently sit in the last place spot of the Finning Division with a 3-3-0-0 record. But, the team has three games in hand on their division opponents.

Tonight, the Klippers visit the Humboldt Broncos at the Elgar Petersen Arena. The Broncos are sitting in first place in the Finning Division with a record of 8-1-0-0 in nine games played.
