Looking at league standings for U13, the Unity Lazers continue to lead the north division with an unblemished 11-0 record. Biggar sits in second with a 7-5 record, while Kerrobert/Luseland is third with a 6-3-1 record. Looking at the south division, the Kindersley Klippers lead the way with a 12-1 record. Second place belongs to Eston Blue with a 9-4 record, and the Leader Flyers are in third with a 4-5-1 record. View the full standings as of January 8 below.

As for leading scorers in U13, Kohen Henrey from Kindersley leads the way with an impressive 37 goals and 55 points in 13 games played. Sitting in second is teammate Landen Freeman, who has 27 goals and 46 points. And in third overall, and second in goals, is Kindersley's Carter Holland with 34 goals and 43 points. Looking at the U15 division, the battle of the Kindersley teams went Team #1's way last week, as they knocked off Team #2 6-2. Other action saw Unity win three games to up their record to 13-2, which leads the way in U15. Kindersley #2 lost two tight games to the Prairie Predators, 3-2 on Friday in Dinsmore and 9-8 in Kindersley Saturday. Here are the scores from a busy first weekend of play in 2024.

As mentioned earlier, the Unity Lazers leads the way with a 13-2 record in league standings. Sitting in second are the Prairie Predators with an 8-3-1 record, while Kindersley #2 is third with an 8-6 record. On the other side of the coin, Rosetown is still looking for their first victory of the season. And taking a look at the leading scorers, Kindersley #1's Dayson Kosolofski continues to lead the way, as he now has 23 goals and 40 points in 13 games played. Sitting in second with 19 goals and 33 points is the Prairie Predators Jayce Fick. And wrapping up the top 3 is the Prairie Predators Owen Odermatt with 11 goals and 33 points. And looking at U18, Kindersley split their two home games with Macklin and Eston and won in Rosetown Saturday. A battle of top teams saw Outlook knock off the KDL Rage 5-2 on Friday, but the Rage bounced back with a 6-4 win over Unity Saturday.

Looking at the league standings as of January 8, the KDL Rage and Outlook are battling for the top spot, as KDL is 9-3-2 and Outlook is 9-2. The Rage have two more points, but Outlook has three games at hand. Macklin and Kindersley are tied for third with 14 points each, but Macklin has five games at hand, as the Klippers have played the most games out of anyone with 16 overall.
