Erratic driving and damage to vehicles headlined things, as part of 47 occurrences in total for the Biggar RCMP in their October 2 report.

A pair of collisions with animals were included in the latest report. Severe front-end damage to a crossover was noted after a collision with a deer. The other incident took place when a pickup truck struck a cow wandering on Highway #376, though thankfully the truck was able to drive home.

A situation that is never safe on public roads, police were given word of erratic driving coming from a pair of semi's on Highway #14. Another case of dangerous driving was noted when a new Volkswagen beetle was braving heavy fog conditions a little too much.

Police would also deal with some suspicious activity throughout the week. First there was activity reported along Highway #51 in the RM of Biggar, next there were reports of a black truck containing two individuals that was driven away from entering yards along Highway #656 in the RM of Rosemount. The final report had to do with a North Dakota license plate trespassing on land around Sonningdale.

Face-to-face dealings saw members called to keep the peace during a civil dispute between a contractor and client. Two other noise complaints came in from the Town of Perdue as neighbours were fed up at both 11:15 PM, and shortly after at 12:22 AM as the noise continued.

Another report saw police surprised to find the remains of a stolen red pick-up from all the way back in 2015. They only found the truck after dry conditions lowered slough water around the area, as police also located a second pick-up in a situation that remains under investigation.

The October 2 report ended with details of a missing semi-tire bead blaster, car scanner and an ozone machine from a farm on Highway #51.
