Municipal elections were yesterday and the town of Eatonia held a vote to elect Councillors.
 
137 residents voted during election day at the Eatonia Community Hall on 205 Main Street.
 
Steven Schwartz was elected by acclamation as Mayor of Eatonia, as no other Mayoral candidates came forward for the election.
 
The six Councillors who were elected are Fritz Eckstein, Troy Becker, Doug Bredy, Darren Donald, Annette Palmer, and Robert (Sam) Somerville.
