Four games were played as part of Girls Hockey Day in Kerrobert on November 18, as the on-ice action supplemented an important day that saw a flag raising ceremony at the Kerrobert Memorial Arena.

The action started Saturday at 12:00 PM as the U11 Western Prairie Mohawks took a big 13-1 win over the Northwest Hawks.

The flag ceremony was held afterwards at 2:15 PM, and then players and fans returned to the rink for the U13 AA Thunder taking on the Warman Wildcats. The U13 team would drop their game by a score of 7-4.

That game paved the way for the U18 Thunder taking on the Regina Rebels at 5:00 PM. The Thunder struggled against their city counterparts losing 7-0.

Finally the grand finale at 7:30 PM saw the Western Prairie Klippers taking on the Outlook Ice Hawks in a SJFHL matchup. Kerrobert local Bree Halter was just one Kerrobert local on the ice during the day, as Halter and the Klippers battled to a 2-1 loss against Outlook to cap off the fantastic day of women's hockey, and truth and reconciliation.
