A special flag raising ceremony took place on Saturday at the Kerrobert Memorial Arena. It was in conjunction with Kerrobert Female Minor Hockey Day, as there was a total of four games played during the day.
Tyson Wuttunee headed up the ceremony and had some help from the Western Prairie Klippers, along with a Chief from Kahkewistahaw First Nation, an elder and singer were also there for the flag song which can viewed in the video.
Wuttunee was honoured to do the ceremony in a rink where he spent lots of time playing hockey. He also thanked the Town of Kerrobert, it's Rec Department, and the athletes, referees, parents and fans for taking part in the ceremony as well.
