The U13 West Central Wheat Kings took a break from league this past weekend to play a tournament in Martensville. They entered the tournament taking 3/4 points in their previous weekend set.

The tournament started with a 4-4 tie against the Saskatoon Mission. After that the next morning started with a 10-2 final against the KC Columbians, placing the Wheat Kings second in their pool and into a matchup with the Warman Wildcats.

The Wheat Kings lost that game 5-2. Their next and final game pitted them against the North East Wolfpack in the consolation round, where the Wheat Kings won by a tight score of 3-2. 

The tournament was played in Hague, Dalmeny, and Martensville. 

Back to regular season play this weekend, it seems the U13's have a rematch with the Wolfpack on the road Friday at 7:45 PM. View how each local AA team has performed so far this year below:
