The Kindersley Senior Klippers and Wilkie Outlaws are tied up 1-1 in the Sask West Hockey League Finals. Game 1 on Friday saw the Klippers take a road victory 4-3, and then Wilkie responded with a road win of their own in Kindersley on Sunday night in Game 2, hammering the Klippers 6-1.

Handing the Outlaws their first loss of the season last Friday to go up in the series, the Klippers and Outlaws played a scoreless first, before things exploded in the second. Wilkie made it 1-0, and then a barrage of Klippers goals in the middle frame from Troy Boisjoli, Kyle Donaldson, Damon McKenzie, Jon Calkins gave the Klippers a 4-1 lead. Wilkie's Rick Cey scored twice in the third, but it wasn't enough as the game finished 4-3. Klippers goaltender Logan Drackett was key in the game, stopping 45/48 Outlaws shots.

Game 2 of the series went Sunday night in Kindersley, and the Outlaws were on attack from the get-go, amassing a whopping 27 shots total in the first period. Ryan Keller and Brock Harrison both scored in the first, 21 more shots in the second period from the Outlaws saw Rick Cey and Brett Boehm get on the board, the Klippers getting on the board via Lane Gilliss in between the two Wilkie goals. The Outlaws added two more goals in the third to claim the comfortable 6-1 win.
