The Rosetown RCMP will be closing a portion of Highway 4 this afternoon during the services for fallen firefighter Darrell James Morrison.

Sgt. Jason Waldner spoke on what closures will happen:

"From 1:30 PM to approximately 2:00 PM, we are going to have highway 4 from 6th avenue all the way to Marshall, shutdown.  The North and Southbound traffic on Highway 4 will be redirected to a gravel road, just during that time"

Waldner also said there will be officers out directing traffic and detour signs to look out for.

The highway will be closed while the community and firefighters from across the province look to pay respects to one of their own.
