Outlook Ice Hawks vs Kenaston Blizzards
Friday November 20- PPD
Saturday November 21- Outlook (5-4) Kenaston

Thanks to a postponement between Outlook and Kenaston on Friday November 20th, the two were only able to finish one half of their scheduled series.

The Outlook Ice Hawks defeated the Kenaston Blizzards 5-4 on Saturday night, and Friday's game is yet to be rescheduled. Only 11 Outlook skaters were dressed, but the shorthanded Ice Hawks squad managed to take the victory, as Jared Jagow and Wyatt Johnson each scored twice for Outlook, with Jagow taking the first star with 4 points in total.

Eston Ramblers vs Dinsmore Dynamos
Friday November 20- Dinsmore (8-6) Eston
Saturday November 21- Dinsmore (7-8) Eston

The Eston Ramblers and Dinsmore Dynamos met for their first series of the season, after the Ramblers defeated the Dynamos in the first round last season.

Heading into Eston, Dinsmore certainly had last seasons playoff defeat on the mind. Brayden Uhrich scored twice and added an assist, and Benson Thorpe scored once to go along with 3 assists to help lead the young Dinsmore squad to victory. For the home team, goals from Johnny Calkins, Collin Shirley, and a hat trick from Andrew Dommett would not be enough to beat the Dynamos.

Another high scoring affair took place Saturday, as Ramblers goalie Jaxon McIvor stopped 31 of 38 and managed to escape with an 8-7 win after a late Dinsmore push. Calkins and Dommett scored again, but Ramblers forward Jesse Ismond led the way with 1 goal and 3 assists. Benson Thorpe scored twice and added an assist in the loss for the Dynamos.

Kyle Elks vs Lucky Lake Lakers
Friday November 20- Lucky Lake (6-7) Kyle
Saturday November 21- Kyle (6-9) Lucky Lake

The biggest upset of the week took place on Saturday, as the Lucky Lake Lakers followed up a tough Friday loss in Kyle, with a massive 9-6 upset win back at home.

Kyle forward Jesse Shynkaruk collected 4 points in the first game, scoring twice on Lucky Lake goalie Carson Bogdan who made 42 of 49 saves in the effort. Several Lakers had good nights on the score-sheet despite a short bench, as Josh Anderson, Dawson Holt, and Jaxan Kaluski all collected 3+ points.

The Lakers nearly put-up 10 goals the next night out as they avenged their previous loss. Anderson and Holt again led the way, putting up 4 and 6 points respectively. A few others would get on the score-sheet for the first time, as both Elks goalies faced a barrage.

Central Butte Flyers vs Delisle Bruins
Friday November 20- Delisle (1-4) Central Butte
Saturday November 21- Central Butte (13-5) Delisle

This series was not the most competitive of the bunch. Following a tighter match-up on the road in Central Butte, the Delisle Bruins were embarrassed on home ice 13-5 the following night to drop to 1-4.

Delisle started the season strong, but were faced with a short bench over the weekend. They managed to stay close Friday thanks to a strict team effort, but were simply out-played on Saturday. Flyers forward Carson Stadnyk collected 9 points in the outing, scoring 7 goals. Delisle still managed to gather 42 shots and put 5 past Flyers goalie Derrick Hucul, to salvage some part of the weekend.
