The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers played a pair of games this weekend and managed to collect 3 out of 4 points.The Klippers first played Melville for the second time and in a close game, Kindersley got some revenge against he Millionaires, and won 3-2 in a shootout. Liam Fraser had a strong game once again with a goal and the shootout winner in the victory.

Kindersley then moved on to play the Yorkton Terriers in Canora and once again, overtime was needed. But this time, the Klippers fell short, losing 3-2 on a goal by leading scoring in the SJHL, Chantz Petruic. Noah Lindsay and Tyler Traptow scored for Kindersley in the loss. The Klippers next action is a home and home against the number one team in the league, the Battlefords North Stars, starting on Friday in North Battleford.

Liam Fraser leads the team in scoring with 16 goals and 28 points in 31 games. Scott McKenzie is second with 22 points and Tyler Traptow rounds out the top 3 with 17 points in 25 games played. The Klippers sit with a 11-14-5-1 record good enough for 28 points and 3rd in their division ahead of the Notre Dame Hounds.
