The SVHL standings saw a little change headed into the Christmas break, as some good action this past weekend helped send Sask Valley teams into the holiday season and 2022.

It was Eston’s turn to host the Blizzards as Kenaston came to town on Friday night, and wiped out the Ramblers 7-3. Eston didn’t have a chance to get that game back as they enter the break off a loss, and Kenaston picked up another win against Central Butte the next night out.

Dinsmore had an up and down weekend as they scored twelve and only allowed three at home against Lucky Lake, but then dropped a 5-2 decision to the Kyle Elks the next night out on the road. One more highlight from the weekends action, were the Rosetown Redwings and Delisle Bruins locking horns at the Rosetown arena, in a feisty affair that ended up 5-4 for the Bruins.
