Suspicious Death In Swift Current

A suspicious death in Swift Current is under investigation. 

RCMP responded to a call of an injured woman seeking assistance at an apartment building late Thursday night. The woman told the officers there was a second injured woman in a different apartment building. When police arrived at that scene, they found the body of a woman in the building. 

As a result of the investigation, a third woman was found at a third address in Swift Current, and she was arrested by RCMP officers without incident early Friday morning.  

All three of the women are known to each other, and the RCMP are not seeking any additional suspects at this time.  

The investigation is still underway, with the Swift Current Municipal RCMP, RCMP Major Crime Unit South, Yorkton RCMP General Investigation Section and the RCMP Forensic Identification Section working on the case, as well as the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
