The Dinsmore Dynamos and Wilkie Outlaws played their Hockey Saskatchewan Provincial "C" series over the weekend. Keeping their undefeated season alive, the Outlaws took down a good Dynamos squad who are currently in the SVHL Finals against Kenaston.

The exciting Game 1 matchup packed the AGT Memorial Arena in Dinsmore back on Friday night. Dinsmore got off to a good start, but it was the Outlaws overwhelming offense that helped them to a 7-3 win in the opener.

The hometown Dynamos got the party started making it 1-0 about five minutes in, before a Wilkie goal tied it about halfway into the period. The game stayed tied into the second as each team scored again to make it 2-2. Halfway through the second is when the floodgates opened for the Outlaws, going up 6-2 before the end of the middle frame. Each team scored in the third as the final score ended 7-3.

Fast forward to Game 2 on Sunday, and it was a much lower scoring affair between the two provincial hopefuls. Dinsmore opened the scoring about six minutes into the game, before Wilkie tied things up at 1-1, and things would stay that way headed into the third.

The Outlaws scored a goal with 13 minutes remaining in the third to go up 2-1, and didn't look back as they now await either Kyle or Carnduff in the final round.

The other provincial game played Friday was played between the Macklin Mohawks and Delisle Bruins in the Senior D bracket. The Mohawks were on home-ice and won 5-1 over the visiting Bruins, with Game 2 now set for Saturday in Delisle.
