The Kindersley Sr. Klippers have punched their ticket to the SWHL final in an exciting 8-6 victory at the "Stadium" in Hafford Saturday night. Just like the days of the old Chicago Stadium, the Hawks came out flying on their home ice, building a 4-1 lead in the first on goals by Scott Linnell, and two Kyles, Litchenwald with a pair, and Ireland with one. But the Klippers regrouped and tied the game at four thanks to goals from Lane Gilliss, Jarrett Reichert and Damon McKenzie to end a wild first period.

The second saw Kindersley build a two goal lead on a goal by veteran Troy Boisjoli and the other by hard working Dylan Georget. But the Hawks cut into the lead, as former Jr. Klipper captain Jordan Braid continued his great series, with his second in two games to make the score 6-5 heading into the locker room.

But it was the Klippers who once again regrouped, with another former Jr. Klipper captain in Troy Boisjoli continuing his strong night scoring to make it 7-5. Also having a great night was Jarrett Reichert, who got the big insurance marker to make it 8-5. The Hawks sensation Jeremy Boyer made it 8-6 on the powerplay late, but that is as close as Hafford would get, as Kindersley held on for the wild 8-6 win to punch their ticket to the SWHL final.

Waiting in the weeds for the final is the Klippers nemesis, the Wilkie Outlaws, a team that is still unbeaten this hockey season.
