The Rosetown RCMP are reminding individuals to be mindful, as there have been numerous reports of scam phone calls lately. The nature of the call includes individuals telling people that there is an arrest warrant for them from Canada Border Security. Police are reminding people to NOT give any personal information to unknown individuals and if, in doubt, always call the RCMP before agreeing to any callers requests. This reminder comes in the calls to service for the Rosetown RCMP from September 17 to 23.

Also included in the calls to service was a report of a break and enter to a rural farmyard on September 20. The matter is still under investigation. And a report of the theft of gas siphoned from a gas tank in Rosetown, this matter also remains under investigation. Then on the morning of September 21, RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision in Rosetown. Members attended there were no injuries. A 16-year-old female from Milden was charged with Fail to yield to right of way at an intersection with a yield sign. Also on September 21, Members received a request from another RCMP Detachment to serve court documents to an individual in the Detachment area.

On the evening of September 22, RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Harris. Members were unable to locate the vehicle. And in the afternoon of September 23, Members received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Harris. Members located the vehicle and a traffic ticket was issued.

There were also 41 Traffic related charges issued, one 911 misdial call and three false alarm calls.
