The ice actions was spectacular on Saturday Night.

The Sask Valley Hockey League hosted a well-played game between the Kenaston Blizzard and the Outlook Ice Hawks.

The Blizzard took the victory 3-1, putting them at a record of 3-7.

Up next for the Sask Valley Hockey League, the Beechy Bombers are set to take on the Dinsmore Lucky Lake Dynamoes on home ice at the Beechy Arena at 2pm today.

The Bombers currently hold a record of 6-4.

The Delisle Bruins are hosting the Elrose Aces today at 2pm at the Delisle Arena.  The Bruins are hoping to continue their 7 win streak.

In the Sask West Hockey League, the Kindersley Red Lions took the victory over the Kerrobert Tigers 14-5 at the West Central Events Centre.

This puts the Lions at a record of 8-3.

The Lions are set to take on the Luseland Dodsland Mallards this coming Wednesday at 7pm at the Luseland Memorial Arena.

The Eatonia Huskies played a good game against the Luseland Dodsland Mallards and won 8-3 yesterday night at Luseland Memorial Arena.

The Huskies now have a 7-5 record.

The Macklin Mohawks hosted the Biggar Nationals at the Macklin & District Complex and took the victory 2-1.

This puts the Mohawks at a 6-6 record.

The Rosetown Redwings headed into the Christmas break on a positive note with a 9-6 victory over the Watrous Winterhawks.

The teams were tied 2-2 after the first but Rosetown scored two quick goals in the first minute is the second period to take control.

Jared Jagow scored four goals for the Wings as they continue to hold down first place.

Their next game will be at home against the Davidson Cyclones on January 3rd at 8:00 p.m.

Elrose midget girls won one and lost one so far this weekend, with a 5-2 victory over the Saskatoon Legends and a 2 - nothing loss to P.A.

They play again this afternoon in Dinsmore.

30 percent of the runs are open for patrons wishing to ski and snowboard.

Full day rates are:

32 dollars for adults 16 years and up

25 dollars for youths 11-15

15 dollars for children 6-10

Children 5 and under are charged no admission.
