The province of Saskatchewan continues to grow according to figures released by Statistics Canada. 

Saskatchewan's population reached 1,169,131 people as of April 1 of this year. It is an increase of 708 from the first quarter of 2019, and up 10,295 from this time last year. 

For the 'Land of the Living Skies,' this is the 52 consecutive quarter that the province has seen growth totalling 176,894 people. 

The province saw net international migration of 2,383 and a natural increase of 1,265 as its main growth but was offset by the net interprovincial migration of -2,940.
