In just a couple more weeks, the halls at the Outlook High School will be filled again with students after two full months of summer holidays.

During these summer holidays, the Outlook Branch Library has managed to stay busy during the weeks with all groups of ages coming into the library for silent reading times or scouting out certain books. There is a summer reading program that takes place every Tuesday afternoon that has had large turnouts consistently since the beginning of July.

The Outlook High School carries students from Grade 6 all the way to Grade 12 which will have more than 300 students attending once September rolls around. There is a high demand for students to utilize the library supplied right in the high school that will help them complete projects, assignments and essays throughout the 2017-18 school year.

Not only high school students benefit with the library once school starts, as the older generations take advantage of the library resources just as much as the students.

Throughout the summer, the Outlook Branch Library helped celebrate a great achievement when Wheatland celebrated their 50th anniversary. There was a night of cake and visiting held at the library to commemorate the anniversary.
