The Town of Kindersley shared a few reminders for residents with the new year here. On Wednesday they reminded business owners to get their business license renewed, and then on Thursday they provided a reminder on renewing pet licenses for 2024.

Beginning with the furry friends, the Town of Kindersley is making the process for pet owners worth it. Anyone who registers their dog or cat will receive a free portable pop-up water dish, and for those who have already purchased, they can go pick one up. Read more through the Town's animal control page here.

"A friendly reminder to drop by the Town of Kindersley Administration Office to renew your pet licenses for 2024! A pet license offers added assurance that your dog or cat can be returned to you if discovered by Kindersley Animal Control. Licenses are valid for the calendar year and license holders are provided with an identification tag for their pets."

The reminder for business license renewal applies to any home-based businesses, out of town contractors/tradespeople, and transient/direct traders. The full breakdown can be found inside the Town's business and economic development page here.

"If you are operating a business within the Town of Kindersley that is not a commercially assessed property, you are required to purchase a business license prior to conducting business."
