Kindersley Creative Kids live up to there name and continue to think of creative ways to raise the funds needed so youth can participare in cultural activities.

Creative Kids is a local committee that offers financial assistance towards families to allow them to place their children in music lessons, dance classes , and other extracurricular activities such as book publishing, art lessons, film making, etc.

Kindersley Creative Kids hosted a Christmas Cabaret fundraiser at Elks Hall in Kindersley this past weekend. The event featured Motown super-group Heidi Munro and Big Stuff from Saskatoon.

Around 70 people came out to the cabaret which was a huge success. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Kindersley Creative Kids committee, who will be granting 100 percent of that back to children in West Central Saskatchewan.

Kindersley Creative Kids Chair Mei Shan Wan talked about the benefits of donating or getting involved with the organization.

Those intersted in donating to Creative Kids can do so online.

Intersted youth can apply with their parents by discussing the expenses and details with an instructor of an activity that they're interested in, and complete the application on the Creative Kids website.
Completed applications from West Central Saskatchewan can be dropped off at the West Central Events Centre in Kindersley.
