The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers were back in action last night at the West Central Events Centre against the Estevan Bruins. The Klippers were trying to avoid a second straight loss as they fell to the Melfort Mustangs on Saturday.

After a scoreless first, the Bruins took over in the second period scoring three goals to take a 3-0 lead into the third period on 2 goals by Isaiah Thomas and one by Eddie Gallagher. Kindersley avoided the shutout on a goal by captain Brandon Borbely, losing 4-1 to Estevan.

Kindersley will get a chance for revenge as they will play the Bruins once again on Saturday at the West Central Events Centre, but they will play the Weyburn Red Wings first on Friday night at home.

Kindersley native Kyle Bosch leads the team with 23 points in 25 games with Austin Nault and Liam Fraser right behind with 18 points. The Klippers now sit with an 8-14-2-1 record after 25 games with 19 points which is last in the Global Ag Risk Solutions Division.
