In 2011 The Graham and Ruby DeLaet Foundation was formed. It is focused on improving the health and wellness of children and teens in supporting the development of golfers. DeLaet also supports organizations such as the Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation.

June of 2015 DeLeat became an ambassador with the Golf in Schools Program where funds raised from the 2013 Graham DeLeat Charity Golf Classic, in conjunction with Golf Saskatchewan, went towards GIS. Although this is his first official title with Golf Saskatchewan and the GIS Program, it's noteworthy to point out, during September of 2014 he donated one dollar for every twitter follower he received. You can find him on Twitter @Fore_Kids.

The funds from the 2013 tournament made it possible to adopt 37 schools in Saskatchewan. (20 high school, two intermediate and 15 elementary schools) Golf in Schools is now present in 70% of schools across the Province with an average of 306, 000 students taking part.

The program, launched in 2009 and based on the Canadian School Physical Education Curriculum is designed for three age groups: Grades 1-5, 6-8 and 9-12. It teaches basic fundamentals, skills and games with safety approved equipment and relevent teaching resources. All while promoting a healthy, fun environment for participants.

Golf in Schools is not only present in Saskatchewan however, it is seen in 2, 400 elementary schools, and 300 high schools all across the country, representing the single most concentrated opportunity to get students off all ages introduced to the game.
New in 2015, Golf Canada partnered with the University of Ottawa to include a Life Skills component throughout all three levels. The element incorporates fundamental skills and values such as respect, perseverance, and honesty.

DeLaet continues to be heavily involved the Gragam and Ruby DeLeat Foundation, and Golf Saskatchewan while juggling a professional career. DeLeat's played in the Open in California over the weekend.
