Residents piled into the Eatonia Memorial arena this past Saturday for the Fall Trade Show.

It was the 28th installment of the trade show for Eatonia, and was no doubt one of the most well-attended to date. People arrived from the town, surrounding areas, and even different parts of the province for this year's show.

A major attraction for the show was the number of vendor booths featured at the event - over 50 to be exact. Both local and visiting vendors were present at the arena. Attendees were able to view and purchase everything from knick knacks, health products, art, children's toys and books, and much more.

Food vendors were serving up delicious items for hungry guests including local convenience shop 21-44. Before the doors opened, people were able to take in a scrumptious pancake breakfast from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Entertainment was supplied at the show as well. One of the biggest attractions for this year's trade show included Melfort-based magician Jay Lamoureux known by his stage name Magic Jay. Children made sure they had their chance to watch the finest tricks and illusions by packing the stands.

"This is my second time in Eatonia for the trade show and a ton of people turned out," said Lamoureux. "Lots of families and lots of energy."

He wowed the crowd with a number of different tricks for the excited crowd. Lamoureux touched on his favourite trick and moment of the show. "It's going to be the levitation [trick] I think because they are anticipating something big," explained Lamoureux. "The show stops for five minutes just to calm them down."

The trade show ran from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
