Days before the Delisle Chiefs of the Prairie Junior Hockey League held their Spring Camp, the team added another name to their roster for the 2019-2020 season. Nineteen-year-old forward, Hayden Sabadash, will be wearing the blue and yellow this fall for his second season in the PJHL.

Sabadash, originally from Saskatoon, played his first season in the PJHL with the Carrot River Outback Thunder and in return for the forward, the Thunder will receive future considerations. In his inaugural season, Sabadash posted 23 points in 32 games and also put up 82 penalty minutes.

Eric Ditto, Chiefs Head Coach and General Manager, said he’s looking forward to what Sabadash will bring to the team.

“Hayden is going to be a strong two way player for us and will add some depth scoring. He plays a full ice game and isn’t afraid to get a bit gritty.”

After finishing in number one spot in their division last season, the Chiefs advanced to the playoffs where they put up a good fight, but lost to the Saskatoon Quakers in the semi-finals. The Chiefs will look to capitalize on their talent this year, when the season gets underway this fall.
