The following is the latest RCMP report released by the Kindersley detachment, with multiply calls of fraud, theft, and impaired driving charges. The reported calls cover up to March 30, 2019.

ASSAULT – Eatonia – call of male attending a residence intoxicated and assaulting homeowner. Male charged and remanded for court in Saskatoon.

BREACH OF PEACE BOND ORDER – Kindersley, report from a female advising a male talked to her, and she believed male was under court order not to. Investigation revealed that no court order existed. No charges laid.

DANGEROUS OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE – report of a male that was believed to be fleeing police, driving in a dangerous manner near Kindersley. Male was located, arrested and charged with several criminal code driving offenses. SUI.

FAIL TO COMPLY WITH CONDITION OF UNDERTAKING – RM of Milton, report of a male being at a residence that he is court ordered to stay away from. Investigation revealed the male was not at the location.

FRAUD THROUGH MAIL – Kindersley – report from a person who gave her personal information to someone posing as the Canada Revenue Agency. The person realized it was fraud after the information was given. Anti-fraud center notified.

IDENTITY FRAUD x 2 – report of a person giving personal information out over a social media message site. Message was fraudulent, SUI; Kindersley – report of person receiving phone call from a pharmacy wanting personal information. Caller was fraudulent – reported to Anti-Fraud Center.

MISCHIEF – Kindersley – report of a vehicle being damaged while parked at a business, SUI.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY – Kindersley – caller reports he thinks a quad he purchased a year ago might have been stolen. Investigation revealed the quad had not been reported as stolen.

REPORT OF OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE IMPAIRED x 3 – Kindersley – report of possible intoxicated female stopping at a local business, en-route to Calgary. Vehicle was not located; Kindersley – report of intoxicated driver. Vehicle was located and intoxicated person was a passenger with a sober driver; RM of Snipe Lake – report of intoxicated male driving. Area of report was patrolled, but vehicle not located.

THEFT UNDER $5000 x 4 – Kindersley – vehicle broken into and documents and keys reported stolen, SUI; Kindersley – report of theft of papers and computer storage devices taken from a residence, SUI; Alsask – caller reported leaving his wallet at a business. When he went back to get it, it was reported that someone else had taken it, SUI; Kindersley – Gas’N Dash – owner of vehicle located and returned to pay for the fuel.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE – RM of Winslow – stolen vehicle located on a grid road. Owner notified and truck was returned to owner.
