One side of Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association senior volleyball teams saw their postseason schedule kick off this past weekend, with Girls Conference Volleyball tournaments taking place all over the province.

The boys' side begins this weekend, but an exciting slate of girls action from this past weekend that saw Unity go a perfect 4-0, and Kindersley and Rosetown both advance out of the Maple Creek tournament was a great way to set the playoff atmosphere for west central schools.

Elrose

Loreburn was the top team when it came to the action in Elrose, as they went undefeated and finished first place in their conference tournament. Host Elrose, Kyle, Dinsmore, and Beechy were the other teams alongside Loreburn, who are slated to host Provincials later this month.

Kerrobert

Edam went a perfect 4-0 and took first place in Conferences in Kerrobert, with the Rebels, Plenty, Luseland, and Hillmond all behind them.

Eatonia

LCBI went undefeated and won out on in the championship bracket in a 7 team tournament out of Eatonia. The hosts were joined by Wilkie and Eston in Pool A, while LCBI, Leader Ponteix and Gull Lake headlined Pool B.

Macklin was the lone west central team taking part in conferences in Turtleford, and they ended up the champions of the tournament among them, Maidstone, Thunderchild, Neilburg, Turtleford, and Hafford.
