The West Central Rage were back in action last night in a busy stretch for the team that will see them play 3 games in four days. The Rage got off to a fast start against the Saskatoon Westleys last night building up a 2-0 lead after the first period. After the Rage made it 3-0 on a Joshua Rediron goal the Westleys came back with a short handed goal with just over 8 minutes left and scored 2 minutes later to cut the lead to 3-2. West Central held on after that however and won by the 3-2 score.

Blake Fennig had a strong game once again for the Rage with 3 assists. Billy Trarback had a goal and an assist and Avery Cholin scored as well in the victory. The Rage are back on the ice tomorrow night for the first of two games starting with the Southern Rebels at 7:30 pm. West Central will then play host to the Saskatoon Royals on Sunday at 3 pm to finish off the month of October. The Rage sit at 3-6-1 after 10 games with Blake Fennig leading the team in scoring with 15 points in 9 games.
