The Kindersley Kobras were unable to defend their home field, dropping a 46-7 decision against the Unity Warriors.

In Biggar the hometown Blazers shutout the visiting Eatonia Spartans 44-0.

The final Week 1 matchup saw Rosetown claim the forfeit win over an LCBI team currently in limbo for the season, though things are looking positive for the rest of the season in Outlook.

In Plenty, the host Wildcats defeated the visiting Kerrobert Rebels 56-36 to open up 2A action.
