Colton Flasch and Team Saskatchewan are going the Brier final, after defeating Team Bottcher 7-3 in the semi finals Sunday afternoon.

Something historic will be happening either way at the final of Montana's Brier in Regina, either Brad Gushue will capture a record sixth Brier, tying Randy Ferbey, or the home choice, Team Sask and Magic Mike McEwen, will capture the first Brier for Saskatchewan since Rick Folk back in 1980.

Team Saskatchewan will be up against Team Alberta and Bottcher in the semi finals at the Montana's Brier today. 

The action gets underway at noon with Team Sask holding hammer to start the game. The winner goes on to play multiple Brier winner Brad Gushue at 7 pm this evening.

Team Saskatchewan and Colton Flasch have moved onto the Brier semi-finals in dramatic fashion, as skip Mike McEwen's last shot was just close enough to knock off Team Dunstone in the semi finals of the Brier Saturday afternoon. It was a back and forth matchup at the Brandt's Centre, which saw Dunstone ultimately comeback from a 5-2 deficit to tie the score heading into the 10th end. 

The Sasky boys will have a tough test either way, as they will play the loser of the 1v2 page playoff between Team Bottcher and Team Gushue Sunday at noon.

Team Saskatchewan and Colton Flasch have moved onto the page 3/4 of the Montana's Brier after a 7-0 win over Team NT Friday night.

An all Saskatchewan matchup is set to take place in a manner of speaking, as Team McEwen will be up against Team Dunstone, who curled for Saskatchewan last year at the Brier. First rock is set to be thrown just after 1:00 pm down in Regina.

Team Saskatchewan won again last night against Team Quebec and finished number 1 in Pool B with a 7-1 record. Because of this they have drawn a 1v2 page playoff against a very tough opponent, Team Bottcher from Alberta, who finished the round robin with a 6-2 record in Pool A. The playoffs get underway Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm from the Brandt Centre, with the other 1v2 page playoff featuring Brad Gushue vs Reid Carruthers.

Team Saskatchewan has really continued to roll at the Brier in Regina, winning big over Team Nunavut 9-3 in last night draw at the Montana's Brier.

The win has upped the team's record to 6-1 heading into their matchup against Team Quebec this afternoon at 2:00 pm.

Team Saskatchewan have now won two in a row after their first loss, both in convincing fashion.

The first was an 11-6 win over Team Alberta and Sluchinski. The second was a dominating win of 10-2 over the NWT this morning.

Their next round robin game is against Team Nunavut who sits 1-5. Team Saskatchewan is in a playoff spot a 5-1 in pool B.

Team Saskatchewan and Colton Flasch lost their first game at the Brier last night, falling to Team Nova Scotia 7-4.

The loss drops Saskatchewan's record to 3-1, still in a playoff spot in Pool B.

The top three get into the playoffs.

Mike McEwen and his team will be back on the ice this afternoon against Team Alberta's Sluchinski at 2pm down in Regina.

Team Saskatchewan is off to a great start in their home province at the 2024 Montana's Brier down in Regina.

The team skipped by Mike McEwen, which includes the excellent brushing of Biggar native Colton Flasch at third, is 3-0 to start.

This included a big victory over Alberta and Kevin Koe last night at the Brandt Centre by a score of 6-5 in an entertaining matchup.

Team Sask is off until primetime tonight, when they play Team Nova Scotia at 7:00 pm local time. The Sasky boys will look to deliver the Nova Scotians their fourth straight loss to start the bonspiel.
