Rain is going to be hanging around the area for the next few days. WestCentralOnline had the chance to speak with Stephen Berg, a meteorologist with environment and climate change Canada to give us an inside look on what to expect,

“Things are pretty unsettled, actually. It looks, given the showers and rain and somewhat cooler conditions, but not too far beyond normal.

It's actually fairly close to normal up till Thursday and then it cools off a bit for a couple of days.

But yeah, decent chances showers are part of the week, especially Thursday night into Friday. And then fairly unsettled for yeah, much of the rest so.”

Berg also explained that the forest fires are still raging in the northern parts of Alberta and to be aware of smoke blowing into the region.

Weather advisories will be set when smoke affects the air quality
