Back again for another year, Unity's Winter Wonderland returns to the community with a full day of events on Thursday.

This includes a Santa's Hut, which will be put on by the Kin Klub of Unity at the Nutrien Building. President of the Kin Klub of Unity Nora Aldred explains.

"The night of our Winter Wonderland, children can come and buy gifts, and they will be $2 each. Everything we have for sale that night has been donated so, it's cost the Klub nothing and that money will go back into the community as well. If they want to buy their teacher, their daycare worker, or their grandpa or grandma, they can come and parents know the budget is $2 per item, and we will wrap it up for them as well."

A full afternoon and evening of events is planned, this includes sleigh rides from 5:30 to 7:30 pm outside the Unity Credit Union, street hockey with the Unity Miners hockey team from 6:30 to 7:30 pm on 2nd Ave E, and Santa photos and a Christmas experience at the Unity Legion Hall from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The night will conclude with a parade through the community beginning at 7:30 pm.
