Unity & Area RCMP members were kept relatively busy for the period of April 27 to May 3. The calls to service were highlighted by a report of a missing person later found in the Unity area, and police in the Wilkie area received a complaint of assault. Members arrested the subject of complaint and transported the individual to North Battleford cells to remain until sober. The complainant requested no further action be taken. And Members in the Unity area received a complaint of theft of fuel from a local gas station. Members located the subject of complaint who returned to pay for the fuel. No charges were laid.

There were also two false 911 calls, two false alarms, and two traffic complaints.

 

UNITY REPORTS

· RCMP received a report of a missing person. Members located the subject of complaint.

· Members acted as mediators in a neighbor dispute.

· Police received a complaint of an individual breaching an undertaking condition. Members located the subject of complaint and transported him to another residence. The complainant declined to proceed.

· Members issued a verbal warning to an individual who refused to comply with a COVID 19 Public Health Order.

· RCMP received a complaint of an individual damaging property at a residence. This matter is still under investigation.

· A 33-year-old Unity male was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle during a traffic stop.

· Police received a complaint of theft of fuel from a local gas station. Members located the subject of complaint who returned to pay for the fuel. No charges were laid.

· There was also one false 911 call and one traffic complaint.

WILKIE REPORTS

· RCMP received a complaint of fraud. Information sent to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

· Members are investigating a complaint of a dog attacking a child.

· CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in a rural area near Wilkie. Reported for information purposes.

· Police received a complaint of assault. This matter is still under investigation.

· Members attended the sudden death of a 52-year-old Wilkie male. The death was not suspicious in nature.

· RCMP received a report of an individual loitering near a residence. Members spoke with the subject of complaint. No police action required.

· Police received a complaint of assault. Members arrested the subject of complaint and transported the individual to North Battleford cells to remain until sober. The complainant requested no further action be taken.

· There was also one false 911 call and one false alarm.

MACKLIN REPORT

· RCMP received a complaint of theft of natural gas. Reported as per policy.

· Members are investigating a report of fraud.

· Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace. The subject of complaint left the residence while Members were speaking to the complainant. Members did not attend. There were no further issues.

· There was also one false alarm and one traffic complaint.
