Two high school football games on Thursday will get another week of action underway around west-central Saskatchewan.

A local 1A matchup gets things started at 4:00 as the Plenty Wildcats host the Macklin Sabres, and a special game for the community of Elrose sees the Rosetown Royals hosting the Eatonia Spartans in a 2A regular season matchup at 7:00 PM.

In Elrose, eleven local players on the Royals will have have a chance to show their hometown what the daily commute up Highway #4 is all about. Their opponents from Eatonia have a similar theme on their team, inviting players from Eston and Marengo to play again this season.

Two other games this week see Kerrobert taking a Friday road-trip to Big River, and Unity paying a visit to LCBI.
