In a magical regular season which included a 20-0 record in league play, has ended with a league championship for the U13 Western Prairie Thunder girls team. Not only were they undefeated in the regular season, they ran the table in the post season as well, going a perfect 8-0, to win the title.
Saturday's 9-0 win saw Stevie Christiaens score four goals, Hayden Hilbig scoring two, and Josie Boisjoli collecting a goal and two assists. Kailee Preston was perfect in net, to collect the shutout.
This win comes on the heels of a provincial banner against the same Wood River/Lafleche team. Congratulations on a dominant season by the U13 Western Prairie Thunder!
