Two deaths have been reported today in correlation with COVID-19.

There we also 271 new positive cases reported along with 478 recoveries.

The central-west zone holds only 2 of the new cases, Saskatoon hold 81, Regina and the northwest zone have 35, the north-central has 30, central-east has 25, far northeast has 19, the far northwest and the northeast have 9 each, the south-central has 4, the southwest has 3, southeast has 3, has 2, and there 16 cases reported with pending residence information.

The Central West zone now is down to 67 active cases as of October 12, and there are now four people receiving inpatient care in hospitals in the zone, up from two on Friday.

Provincewide, there are currently 358 people being cared for in hospital.

268 of those people are receiving inpatient care while 80 people are being treated in the ICU with 75% of the patients being unvaccinated.

4450 cases are considered active across the province.

The 7-day average of new COVID-19 cases is now at 487.
