The Town of Wilkie recently held a try it lacrosse clinic for kids aged 8-10, and 11-13 at the Sask-Can Community Centre. Recreation Director Lori Fenrich said the kids had a great time learning about the sport.

“The lacrosse clinic we held had two age groups of kids, the younger age group which had 8- 10 year olds had 14 kids come out. They enjoyed it immensely, they had a great time and it was really fun to watch. The older age group we did from 11- 13, there was only five of them, but I think they had a blast, smiles all around.

It was great to have the Mike come out from Saskatoon. He was the instructor that hosted the clinic for us, and I hope to have them out again in the spring.  Kind of working on some details for that so, my fingers are crossed that will work out for these kids because they sure enjoyed themselves.”
