Criminal activity around Biggar over the long weekend has local police searching for answers.

On Sunday, the Biggar RCMP detachment received reports of about 200 gallons of fuel stolen somewhere in the RM of Biggar, and though there was no confirmed connection, two nearby vehicles were also stolen before 8 PM that same evening.

Both stolen vehicle complaints came from within the RM of Eagle Creek. One truck is described as a 2012 white F350 SaskPower vehicle with orange taken from Struan, SK. The other vehicle in question is a Red 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 taken from the edge of a farmers field.

Police are sharing that a four door grey car driven by the suspects was involved on scene. WestCentralOnline reached out to Biggar RCMP for more information on the stolen vehicles and fuel.
