Teachers all over the province are getting their picket-signs back out for action on Monday.

During the initial STF demonstrations last Tuesday in Kindersley we spoke on-site with Kim Froese, Communication Chair for Sun West Teachers’ Association, who shared comments echoing what teachers are saying across the province.

A Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation release from Friday detailed how demonstrations will be set up at over 35 locations Monday, with STF President Samantha Becotte joining picket-lines in Saskatoon. In Kindersley, teachers set up in front of the office of MLA Ken Francis. Find the full list of demonstration sites here.

As teachers were out picketing last week, Saskatchewan's Minister of Education Jeremy Cockrill hit the road for discussions inside a few Saskatchewan school division offices. One of those was the Sun West School Division office in Rosetown, a chat with Chinook School Division members in Swift Current, and then a stop in Kyle to view construction progress being made to a local school.
