The Unity, Macklin and Wilkie RCMP calls to service from October 19 to 25 were highlighted by a report of a stolen vehicle later found burned north of Unity. The matter is still under investigation. Also in Unity, there was a report of individuals planning to ring residence doorbells and run away. Members located the subjects of complaint and issued a verbal warning. UNITY REPORTS
· RCMP received a request to conduct a wellbeing check but the family member cancelled the request shortly after the call was received.
· Police received a complaint of assault but it was unfounded.
· Members are investigating a complaint of theft.
· Police attended the sudden death of a 51-year-old Unity male. The death was not suspicious in nature.
· RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.
· Members are investigating a complaint of an individual failing to comply with a condition of a probation order.
· Police received a complaint of assault but the complainant declined to proceed.
· RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle. The car was recovered burned north of Unity. This matter is still under investigation.
· Police received a report of unwanted individuals at a rural residence. The subjects of complaint were gone on arrival. Members located the subjects of complaint and issued a verbal warning.
· CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in a rural area near Unity.
· RCMP received a report of individuals planning to ring residence doorbells and run away. Members located the subjects of complaint and issued a verbal warning.
· CP Rail reported cattle near the railway tracks in a rural area near Unity. Members attended but the animals were gone on arrival.
· Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. Reported for insurance purposes.
· Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
· There was also one noise complaint, one false alarm and one traffic complaint.
WILKIE REPORTS
· RCMP received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.
· Members assisted Child and Family Services with a child welfare concern.
· Police received a complaint of a break and enter into a rural residence near Wilkie. This matter is still under investigation.
· Members conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family member.
· Police conducted another wellbeing check at the request of a family member.
· There was also one traffic complaint and one noise complaint.
MACKLIN REPORT
· RCMP received a complaint of assault but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
· Members conducted a wellbeing check at the request of another RCMP Detachment.
· There was also one traffic complaint.
