In a midweek battle between the Kindersley Sr. Klippers and Wilkie Outlaws, Wilkie scored early and often in game three from the SaskCan Community Centre. Travis Roszell scored just over two minutes in, to give the Outlaws a 1-0 lead. Kindersley appeared to be tired to start this game, as it was the fourth in five nights for the club. Wilkie kept coming, and at the 9:41 the Outlaws doubled their lead as Mitch Suchan scored with the assist going to Derek Keller.

Wilkie then took a penalty 11 seconds later, as Suchan went to the box for boarding. It was Wilkie who scored shorthanded just 38 seconds later, as Rick Cey scored from the top of circles on a goal Kindersley goaltender Daniel Dunn would want back.

At the 14:29 mark, the Outlaws increased their lead to four after being on the powerplay, Ryne Keller scored just as the penalty expired, as Daniel Dunn lost his goal stick, and couldn't get set for the shot

Then just two over minutes later Suchan got his second of the period to extend the lead to five, with the assist going to Keenan Scott. Kindersley got on the board late in the period, as Brandon Cummings scored on a scramble in front of Wilkie goaltender Jared Herle, to cut the lead to four heading into the second.

After 1: Sr. Klippers 1 - 5 Outlaws, shots 15-9 Outlaws

The second period started off better for Kindersley, as they finally got their legs going after the sluggish first period. They actually took the play to the Outlaws outshooting them by a wide margin early on in the period. They were finally rewarded for their play, as Tate Page scored a goal coming off the bench on a line change, on a nice setup from David Dziurzynski at the 7:23 mark to cut into the Wilkie lead. Then the Outlaws pushed back and Daniel Dunn had to make some nice saves for the Sr. Klippers, to keep the deficit at three. There was no more scoring in the period, and the teams went into the third period.

After 2: Sr. Klippers 2 - 5 Outlaws, shots 15-11 Outlaws in the period, 30-20 Outlaws overall

The third period saw the Sr. Klippers got into penalty trouble, and were short handed for a full two minutes, and Garret Cameron put in the puck on a scramble, to increase the lead back to four.

The Sr. Klippers then got a powerplay chance of their own just after the second penalty expired, as Kennan Scott went off for high sticking. It only took 31 seconds for the Sr. Klippers to get on the board, as Brandon Cummings got his second of the night to get Kindersley within three, with over 11 minutes to play. That's as close as the Sr. Klippers would get, as Wilkie held on for the three goal victory, to take 2-1 lead in the best of five series. Game four goes Friday at 8:30 pm from the WCEC.

FINAL: Sr. Klippers 3 - 6 Outlaws, shots 16-12 Sr. Klippers in the period, 42-36 Outlaws overall
