Environment and Climate Change Canada has released their rainfall totals after two consistent days of showers to start the week.

Rain totals around the region show that Rosetown led the way at 24.6 mm, south around Outlook got 15.3 mm after an over 20 mm shot of rain to start May, and the least amount of rain fell around Scott with 9.4 mm hitting the ground.

The weather service also releases a summaries map whenever significant rainfall is recorded across the province. With the rain completed, the list shared rainfall totals around the province up to 5 AM on Wednesday. Kindersley and Leader both finished just under the 20 mm mark, other estimates placing Kindersley somewhere closer to 16 mm, compared to the 18 mm reported below.

Though the short-term forecast shows a sunny weekend ahead, a look at the long-term is showing the possibility for rain once again next week. Expect more ahead of the weekend with meteorologist Terri Lang.
