West-central Saskatchewan's two Saskatchewan Junior Female Hockey League teams will be meeting up for a pair of games this weekend. The Western Prairie Junior Klippers will be facing the Outlook Ice Hawks in the U22 weekend series starting off Friday night at 8:30 PM.

The Klippers are coming off a winless road trip in the southeast, taking on the Regina Rebels Saturday, and the Lumsden Lynx on Sunday. The Ice Hawks were also unable to pickup a victory as they played a pair of games, first off on the road Saturday in Saskatoon, and then at home on Sunday against the Rebels as they finished their west-central Saskatchewan road trip.

Despite the losses, Klippers forward Laiken Swan had a nice showing. Swan scored the team's only goal in Saturday's loss, and then on Sunday against Lumsden the Klippers forward scored another two goals, upping her team lead in points to 18, with 13 goals.

Jayda Braun is the Ice Hawks leading scorer headed into the game, with six points in twelve games. Tied for fourth in team scoring, defender Morgan Snell scored the Ice Hawks only goal last weekend.

Once again, Friday night's puck drop is set for 8:30 PM, and Saturday's game will be played earlier at 4:00 PM. Entering the weekend series the Klippers have a record of 3-11-1, the Ice Hawks only two points above them in the standings at 4-9-1.
