The distinctive green-clad Roughrider fans

The Saskatchewan Roughriders hosted the West Division rival Edmonton Eskimos Saturday afternoon at Mosaic Stadium. They rallied from a 14-10 half-time deficit to beat the Edmonton Eskimos 24-20.

For the first time since 1947 the Roughriders wore red and black uniforms, symbolizing the jerseys the Roughriders sported from 1912 to 1947. They wore their retro jerseys to commemorate their centennial.

During half-time, the Saskatchewan Roughrider Centennial Committee recognized the five communities that have advanced to the fan voting portion of the 'Where is Riderville' contest. Unity made it as one of the top five potential Ridervilles.

All West Central Saskatchewan residents are encouraged to go to riderville.com starting on August 13th to vote Unity as Riderville.
