Fundraising can be boring and tedious for some, but Stacy and Michelle found a way to raise money for a great cause and have some fun doing it.

Last Saturday was the Party for the Park fundraiser for the kinsmen all-inclusive and accessible playground. There was live music provided by Kieran Gardner and the Blucher Boys, a Zach Bryan cover band, smokies and burgers barbequed by the Rosetown Wildlife Federation and a cash bar. Over 160 people were in attendance enjoying a night of fun for a good cause.

The park in question that is being fundraised is the kinsmen all-inclusive and accessible playground. The project will be built in phases with the park hopefully having an install date of this fall.

The Kinsmen Club of Rosetown has currently raised over 130 thousand dollars so far and they aim to raise 200 thousand to be comfortable barring unforeseen circumstances.

The next park fundraiser will be starting next week with the kinsmen club joining the smile cookie campaign. Each cookie bought will be going toward local charities in the area.
