Another female hockey player from the area is headed to the next level.
Forward Ella Wingert from Rosetown has committed to attend school and play hockey at Lakeland College next year. She will become a member of the Rustlers program after 3 seasons with the AAA Swift Current Wildcats.
So far this season the local forward has 5 assists in 18 games. Over her Wildcats career, Wingert has scored 6 goals, along with picking up 7 assists and 81 PIMS over 67 career games played in Swift Current.
As pictured above, Wingert also cracked the Team Saskatchewan roster for the upcoming Canada Winter Games.
